Take A Personal Finance Course With Your Spouse

Picture this, I just start taking a course with my wife about personal finance, and within 3 meetings I got fired. I didn't know how badly I would need this education when I started. The lord was looking out for me, helping me try and get on the same page with my wife and onto a good footing with money.

Nothing will sink your finances quicker then not being on the same page with your wife.

And the stats are that money, communication and constant fighting are in the top 10 reasons people get divorce. 

Take aways from taking a course with your spouse:

• A basic education and understanding of money.
• An understanding of what healthy money habits are.
• A group of friends and accountability partners to help you.
• How to become united with your wife on money.

In my opinion you need to go through a personal finance course  with your partner (free) by the Church of Jesus Chris of Later-Day Saints or (paid) Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University. I've personally done both courses and I can vouch for how good they are.
